Description
As a trusted and accessible healthcare setting, pharmacies are well-positioned to improve access to National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) services for priority populations. However, even after becoming an Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) supplier, pharmacies often struggle with billing systems. In this webinar, participants will review strategies for success when billing Medicare for its National DPP, including enrollment, medical billing, and troubleshooting rejected claims. Participants will learn how the National Diabetes Prevention Program Medical Billing Playbook for Pharmacies, a resource from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, can provide guidance for pharmacists to sustain their services.
Learning Outcome
Learners will have the tools, strategies, and confidence to overcome challenges and administrative barriers related to billing Medicare for its Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) session and program.
