Description

Diabetes distress is real, helping people living with diabetes navigate this while keeping up with their glycemic levels can be challenging but it can be made easier. Learn from Deborah Samuel, RD, RN about the tools she leverages to help de-stress the diabetes distress including her insights about the use and onboarding of the MiniMed™ 780G system, the impact of reducing the burden for the person living with Type 1, and the ease with which health care providers can quickly assess and optimize system settings to improve their patients’ outcomes. Then hear from Kendall Smith, RD, CDCES on how the MiniMed™ 780G has helped the people she has trained to have improved quality of life.

The MiniMed™ 780G system has an advanced algorithm with Meal Detection™ technology* that provides occasional missed bolus forgiveness* and adapts continuously to changing insulin needs every 5 minutes.

*Taking a bolus 15 – 20 min before a meal helps to keep blood sugar levels under control after eating.

MiniMed™ 780G system is for type 1 ages 7 and over. Prescription required.
WARNING: Do not use SmartGuard™ feature for people who require less than 8 units or more than 250 units of insulin/day. For details, see https://bit.ly/780gRisks
