The GRI (Glycemia Risk Indicator) calculator is an app that calculates the quality of glycemia into a one number metric from CGM data. The GRI will fall into zones of escalating risk, from Zone A (little to no risk) to Zone E (severe risk).
Health care professionals can use this metric to quickly assess the overall quality of glycemic control by plugging the percentage of time spent in the VLow, Low, VHigh, and High ranges from a standard 14 - day Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) into the calculator app. The GRI is a composite metric that indicates the quality of glycemia from continuous glucose monitor (CGM) tracings.
The GRI Calculator allows you to calculate the Glycemia Risk Index (GRI) quickly and accurately to assist in diabetes management.
Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) is structured around seven diabetes self-care behaviors, known as the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors®.
