As 2025 winds down, it can be easy to fall into old patterns and forget the updated medication recommendations for treating persons with diabetes. Take some time to remember what drugs are recommended by the ADA and AACE, what to consider when using them, and how to talk to patients about them. This activity will be helpful for outpatient prescribers (physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners), clinical pharmacists, CDCES, BC-ADM, nurses, pharmacy technicians, and anyone with an interest in medications used to treat diabetes.
