Follow this policy to return books to the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES)
Eligibility for Returns and Refunds*
ADCES cannot accept, refund, or reimburse the following under any circumstance:
- E-books after the redemption code has been emailed.
- Damaged or defective books that are not reported to ADCES within 30 business days of invoice date.
- Books in non-saleable condition, including but not limited to books with pencil, ink or highlighted markings; stains; torn pages; or damaged spines or covers)
- Reduced price books, out-of-print books or end-of-life titles.
- Shipping charges or third-party handling fees
ADCES will accept the following:
- Books received in damaged or defective condition due to an error by ADCES, provided the issue is reported within 30 business days of the invoice date.
- Books returned in their original packaging and in unused, unmarked, and undamaged condition.
Please include a copy of your invoice or other proof of purchase with your return.
Return Process
To request a return authorization, contact ADCES at 800-338-3633, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm CT, or email membership@adces.org. Member Services will provide instructions for returning your publication, including the return shipping address.
Refunds and Exchanges
- E-books are not eligible for refunds or exchanges after the redemption code has been emailed.
- Include a copy of your invoice or proof of purchase with your printed book return.
- Once your returned publication has been received and approved, ADCES will process your refund or exchange.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days after the return is received and approved.
- If you would like to exchange your publication for a different title, please identify the replacement publication when requesting your return authorization. Exchanges are subject to product availability. Customers are responsible for any applicable shipping fees
Shipping
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is the result of an error by ADCES or the publication was received damaged or defective.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service (UPS, FedEx, etc.) This will ensure the items are safely returned and received in our warehouse facility.
