The success of any DSMES program relies on its ability to effectively recruit participants, engage them meaningfully, and achieve positive outcomes. This webinar will explore evidence-based strategies to strengthen each of these core areas. Participants will gain practical, actionable tactics they can immediately apply to boost recruitment, deepen patient engagement, and improve overall program effectiveness.

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Identify and describe effective patient recruitment strategies that can increase awareness and participation in DSMES programs.
2. Explain key components of an evidence-based engagement strategy designed to improve session attendance and support positive health outcomes.
3. Describe how to implement three specific, trust-building actions that enhance patient engagement and strengthen the provider–patient relationship.
