Every five years, ADCES teams up with the ADA and an array volunteer experts and stakeholders to update the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES), which provides guidance for all accredited and recognized DSMES services. The latest version of the standards have just been published and they come with some major changes that will help increase access to these critical services.
