Tidepool has been the subject of two peer reviewed papers (see "Sponsored Information" below for more details). Glycemic improvements resulting from use of Tidepool have not been explicitly measured.

Yes. Accounts can be created at home and shared with the clinician, or accounts can be created by the clinic and optionally shared with the patient or their guardian to access from home.

Tidepool data can be viewed on Mac and PC using Google Chrome. Tidepool Uploader works on Mac and Windows PC. Tidepool Mobile is available on iOS and Android.
