The Dexcom G6 CGM is a real-time, integrated Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (iCGM) that is authorized to work inter-operably with a range of connected insulin pen and hybrid closed-loop system partners. It features a 10-day sensor and requires no finger sticks (however, if glucose alerts and readings from Dexcom G6 do not match symptoms or expectations, users are advised to use a blood glucose meter to make diabetes treatment decisions). Approved for patients ages 2 years and older.
