Instinct Sensor

The Instinct Sensor From MiniMed

The Instinct sensor is a 15 day wear continuous glucose monitor for the MiniMed 780G automated insulin delivery pump.

This integrated system provides real-time glucose readings, automated insulin delivery adjustments, and proactive alerts including an Instinct Sensor updating alert. The Instinct sensor monitors the health of the sensor to ensure it's reliable for use. Since the system is free of calibrations, safety checks have been put into place. The Sensor Updating alert indicates when the system is confirming sensor reliability.

The Instinct sensor was created for the MiniMed 780G system by Abbott.

Injury may result if the conditions are not followed. Leave your connected devices outside of the exam room. Sensor readings may be inaccurate during the MRI, but sensor function returns fully back to normal after 1 hour.
