Annual Meeting General Session
AADE15 attendees at general session.

I can’t believe AADE15 is over. After weeks—actually months of planning—where to stay, how to get there, what to wear, what sessions to attend, how to cover my duties while gone, looking forward to seeing and catching up with old friends - I am leaving exhausted BUT at the same time enriched, enlightened, exhilarated, enthused and encouraged by the many new ideas, new technologies, new products and new people I experienced. Each session I attended I thought to myself, “This is GREAT—I need to blog and share this info with the rest of my colleagues”—but each session was the same. By mid-morning I realized that there is NO way I can write extensively on each topic or session. This will not be as easy as I first expected. For those of you who attended, you will understand. For those of you who could not attend, I strongly encourage you to find some way to join us next year - you can share a room, try one of the travel websites that offer discount airfares, look for scholarship opportunities to help with registration. You don't need to worry about food—LOTS of food at the Exhibit Hall or at the Corporate Symposia.

I will have to spend a bit of time trying to narrow down what to share with you. I am thinking the best idea would be to share the main focus of each session in maybe 50 words or less. For those of you who know me well, that is going to be a real challenge!

Please note next year's meeting will take place Friday through Monday, August 12-15 in San Diego which would be a great place to bring your family for a little vacation. San Diego is beautiful (my son was stationed there so we visited a couple of times)—the weather is mild and sunny. I hope you can join us next year.

I will check in with you next week with my synopsis of AADE15!
