The re-usable Tempo Smart Button is attached to a pre-filled disposable Tempo Pen (Humalog, Basaglar, Lyumjev) and connected to the Tempo App and CGM and/or BGM. 

There is a 3-hour delay before Dexcom CGM glucose data appears in the TempoSmart App. The user cannot use the CGM data for dosing decisions through the TempoSmart App.

Tempo is compatible with the Dexcom CGM System and the following blood glucose meters (BGMs): Tempo Blood Glucose Meter, Accu-Chek® Aviva Connect, Accu-Chek® Guide, Accu-Chek® Instant, CONTOUR®NEXT ONE, OneTouch Verio Flex®, OneTouch Verio Reflect®, and TRUE METRIX® AIR.
