ADCES Foundation Donations
Support the life-changing work of diabetes care and education by contributing in one of multiple ways.
Foundation Donation
Making a Diabetes Donation Impacts Lives
Your diabetes donation helps us further the innovative work of diabetes care and education specialists in all practice settings. With multiple ways to give, it has never been easier to rally support for the ADCES® Foundation.
By donating to the foundation, you help raise awareness and financial support for diabetes research and scholarships that help ADCES members make a difference in the lives of people with diabetes. Since the foundation is a 501(c)3 organization, your foundation donation is fully tax-deductible.
Another option is to designate your contribution as a memorial or commemorative gift to honor someone at the time of passing, a special occasion or a “thinking of you” remembrance.
When contributing by check, send a note naming the person you’d like to honor or remember. Include the name and address of the contact to notify that the contribution was made on this person’s behalf.

The Karen Shultz-Goldstein Lecture Fund was set up to honor Karen Shultz-Goldstein, a long-time member of the ADCES Washington coordinating body. Karen, who passed away in 2009, was a friend and respected colleague of many diabetes educators throughout Washington. The local coordinating body decided to honor her memory and dedication to diabetes education by establishing, with her family, a memorial lecture fund. This fund sponsors a special speaker in Karen Schultz-Goldstein’s honor at our annual ADCES Washington coordinating body conference.

Why Donating to the ADCES Foundation Is Important
"The ADCES Foundation provides a direct way to support the professional efforts of colleagues through scholarships, mentored fellowships, grants and attendance to professional training events. Every donation will help drive our specialty practice forward and support the care and education of people living with diabetes.”
