V-Go

V-Go from Mannkind Corporation

V-Go is a small insulin delivery device that is worn like a patch for 24 hours. V-Go provides continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion over 24 hours at a preset basal rate of 20, 30 or 40 units per 24 hours. V-Go provides on-demand bolus dosing up to 36 units per 24 hours in 2 unit increments. V-Go uses only U100 fast acting insulin (e.g. Humalog, Novolog).

V-Go is indicated for adult patients requiring insulin. V-Go is fully mechanical and uses and provides a continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion over 24 hours at one of three a preset basal rates, and provides on-demand bolus dosing at meal times. Patients using V-Go report preferring to stay on V-Go versus MDI.

Important Safety Information

V-Go is magnetic resonance (MR) unsafe. Remove V-Go before X-ray, MRI or CT scan and replace it with a new V-Go after the test is completed. Do not use other insulin products while on V-Go therapy unless instructed by your healthcare professional.
