Using the app, users can:

  • sync glucose data from a compatible OneTouch meter to their smartphone
  • identify glucose patterns with graphs and notifications
  • enable reminders for medication, exercise and eating
  • get insulin recommendations with the Insulin Mentor™ feature
  • share a detailed report with care partners via email or text message
  • set health goals and get personalized coaching with the Blood Sugar Mentor™ feature.

Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) is structured around seven diabetes self-care behaviors, known as the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors®. Diabetes care and education specialists can help you set priorities and work with you on improving your own management in each of the following areas:

  • Monitoring - Tracking data influencing diabetes outcomes.
  • Problem Solving - Identifying and solving issues for better diabetes outcomes.

The OneTouch Reveal mobile app is available on Android and Apple devices. The user’s smartphone and OneTouch meter must have a Bluetooth connection to sync data.

The app also integrates with:

The smartphone app secures user information through encryption and authentication. Users can improve the security of their OneTouch account by following the cybersecurity best practices recommended by Lifescan.

The app does not:

  • allow users to edit glucose readings synced from the meter to the app
  • replace regular visits from a health care provider
  • work with the OneTouch® Ultra 2 meter.

  • Users must create a OneTouch Reveal account. The app prompts users to create an account upon first use.
  • The OneTouch Reveal mobile app only works with OneTouch Bluetooth-enabled meters — such as the OneTouch Verio Reflect. Users should contact  OneTouch support to verify meter compatibility.
  • Users can manually enter blood glucose readings in the app if they are experiencing a weak Bluetooth connection. However, manually entered readings are not factored into high and low blood sugar pattern reports.
