Take advantage of our many tools to help you prepare for the exam and maintain your credential.

CDCES Preparation

Guidance and Study Materials for Attaining the CDCES Credential

The Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist credential (CDCES), formerly called the Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), is for health care professionals with extensive knowledge and experience in prediabetes, diabetes prevention and management.

The CDCES credential is administered and maintained by the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, which also determines eligibility requirements. If you’re interested in becoming certified, we can help you prepare for the exam and earn continuing education (CE) credits to maintain your credential.
