Eversense® App users can view glucose data and receive alerts on their smartphone, tablet or Apple® Watch.

The app works with the Eversense CGM (continuous glucose monitor).

The Eversense Smart Transmitter — part of the Eversense CGM System — sends real-time glucose readings to the Eversense App every five minutes.

Using the app, users can:

  • view current CGM readings, direction and rate of change, trend graph, events and alerts
  • set temp profiles
  • set glucose levels and change rates that trigger alerts
  • set calibration reminders
  • set up unique alert sounds for high or low glucose levels
  • view and download summary reports to understand patterns
  • receive predictive alerts when glucose is trending out of range
  • share data remotely with up to five care providers, family members or friends via the Eversense Now app
  • integrate glucose data within the Apple Health app
  • view data on an Apple Watch
  • view information about their CGM system, sensor and transmitter 
  • log events, including blood glucose values, meals, activity, insulin and health.

Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support (DSMES) is structured around seven diabetes self-care behaviors, known as the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors®. Diabetes care and education specialists can help you set priorities and work with you on improving your own management in each of the following areas:

  • Monitoring - Tracking data influencing diabetes outcomes.
  • Problem Solving - Identifying and solving issues for better diabetes outcomes.

The Eversense App works on Apple and Android devices. Users need internet access and a Bluetooth-enabled mobile device to view up-to-date glucose data.

For successful app use, individuals must:

  • be an Eversense CGM System user
  • have a compatible mobile device (Apple Watch users should refer to the app display on their mobile device if they need their most recent data.)
  • access wireless internet.

Is the Eversense App Safe and Secure?

Eversense App users must log in with their email address and password. Additionally, Senseonics has implemented security measures to protect user’s personal data stored in the app.

  • Turn on the mobile device’s Bluetooth capabilities so the Eversense Smart Transmitter can communicate glucose data to the app.
  • Place the Smart Transmitter within 25 feet of the mobile device to transfer data to the app successfully. The communication range will decrease if you are in water, such as a pool or bathtub.
  • Avoid setting the mobile device to Do Not Disturb mode unless you have turned on the Low Glucose Override setting in the Eversense App. 
  • View the Eversense App display on a smartphone or tablet for the most up-to-date data. The Apple Watch is a secondary display and does not connect directly to the Smart Transmitter. Before making a treatment decision, users should refer to the primary Eversense App display on their smartphone or tablet.
  • To view shared data, care partners must have the Eversence NOW app.

How Can I Use the Eversense Mobile App in My Practice?

The Eversense App is for people with diabetes. Health care providers can download the separate Eversense DMS Pro Account onto their computers to view the CGM data of people in their practice.  

How Does the Eversense CGM App Benefit My Patients?

The Eversense App lets users view real-time glucose data from their mobile devices. Users can personalize app settings with input from their care provider, including:

  • glucose number trigger alerts
  • calibration reminders
  • sound settings
  • temporary glucose profiles.

Personalized settings, customized reports and Eversense Circle support can help people with diabetes reach goals and manage the condition.

Professional Portal Availability:

Health care providers can view shared patient data on their computers by logging into the Eversense DMS Pro software.

The app is free to download on Apple or Android devices. Users do not need a license or subscription.
