KNOWLEDGE  – There are so many opportunities to help support and increase your knowledge through our National Practice Survey, learning opportunities like our annual meeting in Houston this year. ENGAGEMENT – beyond connecting, there is the opportunity to engage and to be represented with your colleagues in your community and at the national level to understand, influence and support our specialty. As a member you can volunteer in leadership, research, practice, education, advocacy, and certification.   

IMPACT –  You are the nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and other core members of integrated diabetes care team, working to ensure every person with diabetes, prediabetes and related cardiometabolic conditions has access to care and education developed, supervised or delivered by a diabetes care and education specialist.

When you became a member of the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists, you were connected with a nationwide network of like-minded collaborators, advisors and supporters who share your passion and dedication for diabetes care and education. As the leading organization for the fully integrated diabetes care team, our all-in, person-centered approach helps to lower the cost of care, improve experiences, and ensure thriving is a way of life. From clinical management to education to prevention and support. We turn evidence-based research into the resources and tools you need to feel empowered and prepared for what's next.

The cost of ADCES membership has not increased in more than 11 years.  Beginning March 1st, the cost of active, associate and international membership will increase by 4 cents a day – a total of $15.00 more for the year. As you make your plans to renew your 2023 membership in ADCES, ensure that you are taking full advantage of the benefits available to you and are making the most of your ADCES membership.
