Get an introduction to the newly FDA approved, MiniMed™ 780G system and learn about the advanced algorithm with Meal Detection™ technology* that adjusts and auto corrects every 5 minutes. During this program, you will learn the foundations of the MiniMed™ 780G system including algorithm details, changes that positively impact the patient experience, concepts of therapy management, and best practices for both the clinician and the patient. Hear practical tips and CareLink™ report interpretation from Christie Beatson, MS, RD, CDCES lead adult educator from Barbara Davis Center.

Christie Beatson is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at the Barbara Davis Center (BDC) for Diabetes in Aurora Colorado. The BDC specializes in the care of children and adults with Type 1 diabetes. She has been at the BDC for the past 17 years and previously worked at Harbor UCLA in Torrance California. Christie is the manager of the adult clinic at the BDC and is very involved in research. She is actively involved in clinical trials in the areas of new insulin therapies, pumps and continuous glucose monitors. Christie completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at California State University at Long Beach.

Nancy Lea, MS, RD, CDCES, is the Senior Manager for the Professional Affairs and Clinical Education (PACE) team at Medtronic Diabetes. In her role, Nancy leads a team to create content and execute educational programs for health care providers. Nancy strives to empower customers to independently manage users of Medtronic Diabetes products and therapies through educational programs. Nancy is based in Denver, CO.
