45-minute Program
Effective dates for CE credit: 2/26/2026 – 2/26/2028
Description
CDC's 1705 Cooperative Agreement provided an historic opportunity to explore what works to engage and retain participants in the National Diabetes Prevention Program, advance health equity for priority populations, and provide an integrated approach to sustain prevention long-term. Working for six years, across eleven states, to build 20 CDC-recognized programs, ADCES trained 80 lifestyle coaches to enroll 5,000 people with prediabetes. What can you learn from this initiative to make your program successful and sustainable? This engaging session provides case studies, and key recommendations, that demonstrate how you can take your diabetes program to the next level.
This webinar counts toward the CDC requirement of 2 hours of continuing education for lifestyle coaches.
